This first single is the second track from the upcoming fourth concept LP, "The Martyr Approach." The song depicts the protagonist's realization of his fate should he fail to save himself amongst his peers. The song's music and lyrics were written by drummer Logan Satalino. The band's good friend and experimental black metal and noise artist Mictain joins the track, playing the role of the protagonist's adversaries that attempt to seal his fate. Mictain brings a brutal element to the band that's never been captured in the band before, diversifying the song and showing it's genre-blending versatility. The song takes sounds from black metal, thrash metal, death metal, and even some ambient to create a concoction of extreme metal brutality.
